If you're old enough to remember, cars and trucks weren't always as sophisticated as they are today. But you don't have to be too high in years to recollect roads filled with simpler vehicles. Most automotive technologies that we now take for granted have hit the mainstream within the last 25 years.

Cars prior to this period had less computerization, simplistic electrical systems, and meager in-cabin entertainment treats. So here comes the obvious question: Do you think today's vehicles are too complicated for their own good?

Don't forget, though, that there are plenty of advantages and reasons why OEMs have embraced countless technologies (i.e. comfort, safety, environmental impact, etc.). But we'll leave it you to say whether or not it's all worth it.
